Jackie's Stars

This is a quilt my mom designed. My sister-in-law Jackie has made quite a few of them, so the name Jackie's Stars has just stuck with it.

This is one I made for Christmas 2009. That year Jackie also made star quilts for Christmas gifts. I will have to take pictures of the ones she gave to my kids. Greta sleeps with hers almost every night.

I am not sure if this is right but I will call it a stack and whack. you stack blocks of four colors together and cut them apart then put them back together to look like this with interlocking star blocks. It is pretty fun to do.
